It was a long-standing tradition of theirs; he always gave her roses (they matched her hair), and she usually gave him more practical gifts. Not that she was turning down his little flirtations, by any means -- she just hadn't actually ever accepted them. Thus, he was unsurprised to find a long leather case decorating his desk that evening, a beautifully crafted rapier nestled next to a long-stemmed rose. What did surprise him was the note that rested atop them both, carefully scripted in her elegant handwriting.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
